The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration claims that Russia is intentionally targeting civilian infrastructure.
A sequence of strong blasts shook Kyiv, as a barrage of ballistic missiles and Shahed drones struck while many residents took refuge in shelters and officials urged people to stay indoors.
"Kyiv is being hit by the main assault. There is severe damage to civilian infrastructure," Klymenko stated.
Twenty individuals, including one child, sought medical assistance in the capital, according to Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
He reported that five strikes hit civilian sites in the city’s Shevchenkivskyi district within half an hour, including a 25-story apartment building, while a market and a grocery store erupted in flames. In the Obolonskyi district, a nine-story residential building suffered a direct hit.
